What is KarobarDesk?
KarobarDesk is a web app for running a business. It keeps your orders, payments, customers, expenses and stock in one place, works in Urdu or English on any phone or computer, and sends invoices on WhatsApp. It is made for shops that sell from stock and for made-to-order businesses.
Is KarobarDesk the same as other Karobar apps?
No. KarobarDesk is its own product, written as one word, at karobardesk.com. The app itself is at app.karobardesk.com.
Do I need to install anything?
No. KarobarDesk opens in the browser on your phone or computer. Sign in and you are ready.
Is my business data private?
Yes. Each business's information is kept separate from every other business, and only the people you add can sign in. Staff can be limited so they never see your costs or profit.
Can my staff use it too?
Yes. You choose who is an admin and who is staff, and which screens each staff member can open. Staff can take orders and record payments without seeing the owner's costs or profit.
Can I sell on installments?
Yes, for shops that sell from stock. Installment sales are available on request: monthly schedules, guarantors, a dues list and WhatsApp reminders.
Does it work in Urdu?
Yes. Each person picks Urdu or English for themselves, and the app is laid out right to left in Urdu.
Can I print invoices?
Yes. Invoices and receipts print neatly on A6 paper, or you can save them as a PDF and send them on WhatsApp.
Does it need the internet?
Yes, KarobarDesk needs an internet connection so your data is always safe and the same on every device.
Can I run more than one business?
Yes. One sign-in can switch between your businesses, each with its own orders, customers and stock.
